Craig Freudenstein is the Co-owner and force in the kitchen behind XS food. Craig has a true passion for transforming fresh, seasonal and local produce into beautiful and delicious dishes.
Craig has 23 year’s hospitality industry experience across international, regional and metropolitan locations. Most recently he was Catering Manager/Head Chef at Port Macquarie Race Course (2.5 years). Prior to that he was the Head Chef of multi-award winning Restaurant Splash for 4 years (2007 NSW Tourism Restaurant of the Year).
Craig had a pivotal role in successfully securing and executing the catering contract for the Ironman Australia, 2011 & 2012 held in Port Macquarie.
Rachel Freudenstein is the Co-owner and Manager of XS food. Rachel loves all things culinary and believes that food holds immense significance when celebrating milestones and special events.
Rachel has 24 year’s hospitality experience across regional and Sydney locations.
Career highlights include the successful organisation and management of 2008 & 2009 Port Cup Racing Events and successfully securing and executing the catering contract for the Ironman Australia, 2011& 2012 held in Port Macquarie.
